Josia Rakotondravohitra est batteur, pedagogue et fondateur d'APONGA, un ecosysteme dedie a l'education musicale et au developpement culturel a Madagascar. Forme entre Antananarivo et l'Italie, il developpe un langage musical a la croisee des rythmes malgaches et du jazz contemporain. Cofondateur du Weaver Trio, il se produit dans des festivals en Europe, a Mayotte et a Madagascar, et intervient dans des universites europeennes (MUK Vienne, HMTM Munich, IASJ).

Josia Rakotondravohitra is a drummer, educator and founder of APONGA, a platform dedicated to music education and cultural development in Madagascar. Trained between Antananarivo and Italy, he develops a musical language at the crossroads of Malagasy rhythms and contemporary jazz. Co-founder of the Weaver Trio, he performs at festivals in Europe, Mayotte and Madagascar, and gives masterclasses at European universities (MUK Vienna, HMTM Munich, IASJ).
